Ventana’s Spring Soirée and the online auction are our biggest community-building and fundraising events of the year. The Soirée is a much-anticipated party that brings us together to celebrate, connect, and raise funds to support Ventana. The online auction offers opportunities to bid on items and secure a spot at one of our beloved community parties.

The proceeds of the spring Soirée and the online auction go toward three essential pillars of Ventana: our innovative programs, our dedicated educators, and our Flexible Tuition program, ensuring accessibility for all families.

Our Online Auction features Community Parties, and Teacher Experiences. Community Parties are parent-hosted events for children, adults, and families, and Teacher Experiences are staff-hosted events for children. ANYONE can participate in the online auction, so please share with friends and family.

The Spring Soirée and Online Auction would not be possible without the generosity of time, talent, and treasure from the entire Ventana community. There are many ways to get involved, and all are appreciated greatly!

We look for tickets to sporting events, theatre, and concerts, as well as gift certificates to restaurants - items you would want to bid on! Not sure what to donate? Contact auction@ventanaschool.org.

Host A Community Party!

Building community is another focus of the Spring Soirée! Community parties are a fun Ventana tradition where parents or a group of parents host a unique experience that others buy tickets to, and all the money benefits the school. They can be adult-only, for families, or just for kids. We have had pool parties for the whole family, dinner for adults only, and a backyard barbeque for adults or the entire family! Maybe you have a skill to share and can teach a class. Intro to coding? Bollywood dance lessons? A Yoga class? We welcome your ideas! Have an idea but want a co-host? Want to host but not sure what to do? Here are some ideas, or you can reach out to auction@ventanaschool.org.

  • The Spring Soirée is Ventana’s much-beloved annual community-building and fundraising event. It is an opportunity for current families and staff, alumni families, and friends to come together in support of Ventana. The evening includes dinner, a live auction, dancing, and more!

  • The proceeds of the Spring Soirée and the online auction go toward three essential pillars of Ventana: our innovative programs, our dedicated educators, and our Flexible Tuition program, ensuring accessibility for all families.

  • The Live Auction takes place during the Spring Soirée and is part of the evening program. Guests bid in real time on a curated selection of items and experiences. The Online Auction features Community Parties and Teacher Experiences. Signups for Teacher Experiences have been available since January 2026. Community Parties are parent hosted events for children, adults, and families. The Online Auction will run from 12pm on Thursday, March 19, 2026 through 12pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Anyone can participate in the Online Auction, whether or not they attend the Soirée, and we encourage families to share the auction with friends and extended family.

  • The Fund-A-Need is a special giving opportunity during the Soirée when guests can raise their paddles to donate at various levels in support of Ventana. We are excited to announce that 100% of this year’s Fund-A-Need donations will go directly to funding our Flexible Tuition program!

The evening celebrates curiosity, creativity, and a sense of mystery, an invitation to explore, imagine, and delight in the unexpected. Guests are invited to wear cocktail attire and add a playful twist that feel expressive, distinctive, or simply comfortable. Think classic elegance with room for curiosity and personal interpretation.  In past years, the Soirée centered around a specific theme with more prescriptive attire. This year, the dress code is intentionally more open. Our priority is that you feel comfortable, confident, and present. We hope you will join us dressed in a way that sparks joy and reflects your own sense of wonder.
