Ventana uses Ravenna, an online admissions platform used by many independent schools throughout the Bay Area. To get started, create a free Ravenna account. From there, you can explore our Preschool and Elementary programs, register for school tours and events, and submit your application.

Applications for the 2027–2028 school year open on September 1, 2026. We invite families to begin the process early to enjoy our admissions events and complete all requirements without rush.

We strongly encourage completing your application by January 11th. For families needing additional time, the final deadline is January 21st. Please note that to remain eligible for the January 21st final deadline, you must submit your preliminary application steps in Ravenna no later than January 11th.

Admissions Events

School Tours

  • Weekly from September 2026 to December 2026

  • Tours are an optional step of the application process, but are highly encouraged.

  • Led by the Director of Enrollment Management and Matriculation & the Director of Learning

  • Insight into our classrooms during normal school hours, explore our facilities, and ask any questions you may have

  • Please note that all tours are adult only.

Open Houses

  • Visit classrooms, where teachers will have engaging invitations for children to explore.

  • Chat with teachers, staff, and parent ambassadors to learn more about our programs, as well as the middle school transition with our matriculation team.

  • Participate in a series of optional featured events designed to give

    you deeper insight into key aspects of our program (Elementary Math,

    Inquiry Work and Alumni & Parent Panel.)
