There are many different volunteer opportunities that can be done at school or from home, from one-time events to ongoing positions. Ongoing VePA Volunteer Opportunities
Room Parent: Parents in each classroom have volunteered to serve as Room Parents for the 2025-26 school year. The commitment involves 2 to 4 hours of service per month, mostly done remotely.
Lunch Recess Support: Provide extra support in the library, art studio, and tinkering lab from 12:00 to 12:30 PM. (Requires fingerprinting)
Ventana Neighborhood Gatherings: Host a weekend in your local park with school-provided play materials.
Chaperone/Drive on a Field Trip: Teachers will communicate chaperone opportunities as they arise. (Requires fingerprinting)

Completing your LiveScan fingerprinting clearance once validates your participation for the duration of your time at Ventana.
LiveScan Fingerprinting forms can be obtained from the Ventana office.
Parents are responsible for the one-time fee associated with obtaining LiveScan clearance.
